About us:

In 1962 Wisła gained the status of a town, this was only a confirmation of the great significance of this place, which it has enjoyed for years. Discovered by Bogumił Hoff in the latter half of the nineteenth century, it soon became a well-known health resort. The writers Władysław Reymont, Bolesław Prus and Władysław Orkan and other celebrities visited Wisła between the two World Wars. For the convenience of the numerous visitors the railway line was extended from Ustroń to Wisła. Moreover, the town centre and nearby hamlets were also developed. One of these hamlets is Dziechcinka, which was especially popular with investors. Next to the road, in a deep gorge, along a stream also named the Dziechcinka, a few luxurious villas were built during the interwar years, which functioned as comfortable guesthouses. One of them is our Villa Amalia. After World War II the villa was taken over by FWP (Employees’ Recreation Fund) and renamed KASKADA 3. It served this institution unchanged till the end of the twentieth century, when it was bought by its present owners. In 2002-2003 the sixty-year-old building was redesigned and rebuilt to ensure that its standards meet the latest modern requirements, yet its atmosphere is still reminiscent of the wonderfully carefree 1920s and 30s. Since 2004 our villa, which has reverted to its original name Amalia, is always at your disposal when you wish to relax in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.
